hi , help me pls to identify this ALPS encoder

You didn't provide any dimensions???

It might be a Alps EC11 or Alps EC12.

I have been using PEC11 encoders in my projects.

I suggest taking it apart and count number of detents if they are present and number of contacts to get pulse number per turn. Then select replacement accordingly.

Thanks for quickly help, here the inside pic visible detents , 3 contacts , for sure EC12 the shaft is plastic.

Seems like 24 pulses, can you take out wiper part to see if there are any detents underneath? On second thought looks like there are none.
