Identify Barrel Connector
« on: November 14, 2023, 10:45:55 am »
I'm trying to identify a barrel connector so I can buy a pigtail to connect the power adapter to my Ruideng RD6006. Wondering if anyone here can point me in the right direction.

Power Adapter Model A10024_EPN for a Samsung S34E790C monitor. The outer diameter is about 6.3mm and it has a center pin.

Attached are some pictures.

Take a look at the table on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coaxial_power_connector

I bet you’ll find one or two likely candidates in that list.

If you can not find the adapter thingy, you could do this:
- Cut the present connector off of the power module. Leave yourself a good ten inches of wire on the plug.
- Crimp, or solder, a female spade connector to the hot wire of the power module. Crimp, or solder, a male spade connector to the ground wire of the power module.
- Purchase a plug that will fit the RD6006. Crimp, or solder, a female spade connector to the ground wire of the power module. Crimp, or solder, a male spade connector to the hot wire of the power module.
- Repeat this process, for the original power module connector, so that the power module may still be used with the device that it came with.
Now, the power module is "universal" and you do not have to find a specialized adapter that has the exact two ends that you need. HTH.
