Identify manufacturer / series for motorcycle connector
« on: January 22, 2018, 12:10:38 am »
I'm trying to find the manufacturer and/or product series for a connector that comes from my 1987 BMW motorcycle.  Being a BMW, the same style of connector would have been used on BMW cars from the same era, such as E28 and E30.  The embossed logo might give a clue but I have not had success matching it to any known connector manufacturer.  Photos  below:

Thanks for pointers.

as far as I know, you can get the connector as spare part at the official BMW motorcycle dealer.
I think, it was a connector made by AMP which is now TE-Automotive. Some parts I have are marked with AMP.
Another possibility is to contact the manufaturer of the wiring harness. http://www.kromberg-schubert.com/
Alternatively try to search here: http://www.steckermarkt.de/eshop.php?eslink=1&action=home&shopfilter_category=&s_group_id=%2A
