If Repairing Meanwell 350W Supplies..........
« on: June 02, 2015, 08:51:15 pm »
be very careful how you take the PCB out of the case. There are one or two devices at the thin end opposite to the connector assembly and one or two devices bolted to a long side. After removing the screw holding the device(s) to the long side you MUST carefully bend the devices back so that the board can be removed. If you don't bend the devices back and lift the pcb it will crack around the area of the power FETs.

The epoxy is now setting around the repaired PCB and once it cures overnight I can attempt to repair the electrical fault  :palm:
Should you find yourself in a chronically leaking boat, energy devoted to changing vessels is likely to be more productive than energy devoted to patching leaks.
