Is there a way to check if a UV sensor is working or not?
« on: January 26, 2022, 04:33:28 pm »
The UV sensor appears to have a glass over it, I couldn't see clearly but it appeared like there is a thin crack is on the glass, inside the glass I can see a squiggly trace. Two wires from this go to a 6-pin wire connector, I cannot detach those wires and I cannot desolder the UV sensor, the only option is I have to cut the wires, Is there a way to check if this UV sensor is working or not?

Deuterium-Lamp may be directed to UV sensor at varying distances which vary and depends upon the specific model of UV sensor) and try to read the current through UV sensor, then a resistor in series with the UV sensor with  voltage to let it operate.
So might get idea of the values and get from it the outline circuits schematic
