Jaycar TS-1574 Digital Station Has No Temperature Readout
« on: March 13, 2018, 05:32:13 am »
I have a Jaycar TS-1574  Digital soldering station
Has been working until today
the soldering soldering side of the temp readout lights up but is blank
The reworking side works fine still
Nothing except the light is showing on the soldering side of the display window. Soldering iron does not heat up
Is this an easy fix or time to buy a new soldering station
Pic is with no iron attached but it makes no difference if iron attached or not to the display window

$13
electronically iron/desoldering gun/hotair appear to be the same, but I suspect different firmware, because they label them separately
