Hi all,
I bought a pair of JBL 305s on eBay and I'm saddened to discover one of the tweeters isn't outputting anything.
Going by Dave's teardown here :
... it looks like the crossover is DSP based. If I'm getting woofer output, does that mean the chips probably haven't blown? Hopefully it's just a dead speaker coil right?
I don't have my multimeter with me right now but I'll go out and get one to measure the resistance across the tweeter terminals.
Any advice welcome!
