Hey guys I did something stupid I let the magic smoke out but anyway. It is a Chinese device but unfortunately I can’t read the rest of the marking so this is a shot in the dark to me and I wear trifocals it looks like a 555 timer I can see some markings but I was thinking maybe you guys may have run into one of these IC with similar markings. If not Advanced thanks anyway |
| Ian.M:
I think we can be fairly sure its *NOT* a 555 timer. However without seeing the rest of the board and having an idea of its application all we can do is guess from the remaining markings. |

You need to reverse engineer a schematic or find someone else who has taken apart the same device and has a photo. |

At least give some context about what it is. Showing a picture of IC with destroyed marking with no other info and not even a PCB picture is not helpful. |

We definitely need a LOT more information, what is the device it is used in?, what is the identifier on the PCB, is it U5? (in case someone has diagrams for it). |
