I've had a Kawai MP10 now for 6 years. About three years ago the power input fuse blew. I subsequently replaced it.
And about 6 months later the same problem occurred and the keyboard was not powering up even with a new fuse. I then found a schematic online for a similar keyboard (the MP8) and changed over a capacitor or two on the power input board. It seemed to work fine for a while, now the fuse has blown again. Unfortunately for the life of me, I cannot find any paperwork on which capacitor I actually changed (perhaps it was both). I suspect it was the blue safety capacitor (

I have attached some photos of the AC power board, the transformer, and the DC power board. I've also attached the schematic which differs slightly (there is no choke coil on the AC power board for instance).
I have no idea why this is happening. Maybe my electronics knowledge is lacking, but if the fuse is blowing before the step-down transformer, it would mean that the problem has to exist only on that side of the electronic component, i.e., the power board, AC inlet plug and wires.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
