KBIC-125 (5 Triac version) schematic
« on: April 03, 2023, 03:21:22 pm »
I'm, trying to repair an old KBIC-125 motor controller. Schematic would be helpful.

The board has designators SCR1-5 along the heatsink, so quite different than the KBLC-240 schematics floating around.

anyone have a source for the schematic?

There are not many components on that board. I you really want a schematic you could reverse engineer it easily.

Much quicker however is to measure / check those components in place. A simple multimeter is likely enough. If you have a doubt remove them and measure out of the board.
When it fits stop using the hammer

And download the datasheet for that chip. There will likely be an application note for it somewhere too.

I seem to remember that years ago KB controlls came with schematic included in the box. To bad they all ended up in garbagge can. My advice, just buy a new one, not worth the effort to repair IMHO.
