Keithley 2000 Firmware compatibility
« on: May 07, 2015, 06:08:33 am »
There are some PCB versions, with different MCUs ans ADC, of the K2000 main PCB.
Are all firmware versions compatible with all board revisions?

Yes all FW's are compatible as far as I know. I should mention FW A20 needs recalibration after flashing, this is the newest version.

Only de A20 version needs recalibration?

Some revisions of the PCBs use different MCUs. Do you now if they are interchangeable?

Yes I have heard from multiple people they had to recalibrate after flashing to A20. As I remember correctly it has an exta calibration step.

I have never heard of anyone who had problems with any upgrade. One of our oldest keithleys has an official upgrade to A15.
