Keithley 2010 hangs on boot

Hi there!

I have an offer for an Keithley 2010 which hangs on boot - you only see the display initializing with all segments active but no further sign of life.
What might be the problem here?
Should i give it a try or might that be lost money...?

Did someone had a similar problem and could tell what the cause of this malfunction has been?
I know that this problem could probably be caused by many things...
