Keithley 2400 Display for Keithley 2420 ?

I was asked to repair a Keithley 2430 at work - its display doesn't turn on. We have a non-functional 2400 available. Before I open the 2430, does anyone know if the display boards in the 2400 and 2430 are the same ?

Of course I'll check for just ribbon cable failures and similar mechanical issues also.

That worked -- now I have one good 2420 (it's not a 2430 as in the title originally), and a bad 2400 -- the bad 2400 doesn't even appear to turn on now -- does it need the display to be able to turn on ?
