Keithley 2400 Error Code: 601 Reading Buffer data lost

My 2400 sometimes indicates this error for a second or so on power on; I can't find any documentation about what causes it, or if it is a problem.

Any ideas ?

nothing serious. check the voltage of the 3V lithium battery that supplies the reading-buffer RAM. its probably dead.

Thanks. It's soldered in with tabs (manual implies it's socketed) -- it's hard to find a replacement nearby...  :(

Did you get to replace the battery? Did that solve this problem?
