Never posted here before so I apologize for cross-posting in the Test Equipment forum.
My MSOX4154A is throwing P-CLOCK or ADC failures intermittently. It's two years out of warranty so I'm hoping someone has faced this and found a solution. While in warranty, it threw these errors a few times and then silence for months so I left it alone. Stupid, I should have had it checked under warranty.
Keysight actually acknowledges that the problem exists on the Infiniivision series, although uncommon. Their solutions are self test, reload firmware, send it back for repair. If there is a repair, it's a design problem and they know it. I can't afford to fix it at the moment.
I'm raising the temperature of my lab by 10 degrees to match the summer/'fall and see if that helps.
