Apple Quadra 950 PSU

PSU fault some components has terminal corroded and broken like unknown ZD10A who have the schematic can shre it please.

It does look quite grungy.

No idea where you can find schematics, but a ZD designator in a power supply has got to be a zener diode used as a reference voltage on the base of a bipolar power transistor - if you can figure out what power rail the transistor drives, you can probably just select the zener of the same voltage to drop it in.



Between the grime and the conformal coating, though, I don't envy the repair job...

I don’t think it’s conformally coated, in the picture it’s just wet with some liquid.

Also, I think it might be worth considering scrapping the old PSU and replacing it with a modern one. This isn’t horribly difficult to do: http://www.geekdot.com/fix-quadra-power-supply/

I’d be hesitant to risk frying a Quadra 950 with a power supply that had corrosion. A carefully modded modern supply seems like a safer bet.
