LCD Problem - STM32F4 Discovery Kit for STM32F469 MCU
« on: February 14, 2023, 02:50:50 am »
I am having problems with STM32F469I discovery kit LCD. Recently, I lifted my laptop forgetting the discovery kit is still connected and may have damaged the LCD screen.

I am seeing these lines on startup of board.

The board seems to be working fine as I can still program the board using builtin ST-LINK.

Any suggestions to salvage the LCD?

It looks like it has a ribbon cable going to the back of the PCB, and a ZIF socket.
Inspect and reseat that connection.

I disconnected the ribbon cable and connected it back. No luck.

Thanks for the suggestion.
