Leader 8064 Analog scope

Hi All

 found q13, q 14 2sc1252 transistors defective in the  final Y amp . looks very hard to locate
could anyone suggest a suitable replacement. , Will 2N5109 Work ?

The 2N5109 does not look ideal, but there is an acceptable chance it will work .

The main difference I see is slightly lower maximum voltage (you can analyze the circuit to see if this is going to be an issue), and lower gain (which may be a problem).

I would give it a try and see if the scope works and can be calibrated.

By definition CRO plate output amps are HV video amps and BF259 can be a good general purpose substitution although always cross reference datasheets.
