Blown PicKit 3/Schematic/What part is this
« on: September 06, 2015, 03:01:12 pm »
Hey all,

Managed to blow my pickit 3 by forgetting to dial my PSU back down to 5V |O... After some inspection it only seems that one small sot6 part (labeled U9) close to the header is blown.

In an effort to repair the dang thing - does anybody have the schematic for the pickit3? Or is anybody willing to open up their pickit3 and tell me what part this is?

Any other ideas of what I could do?

Sorry for the stupid question!

Here is a picture of an intact PCB of the internet with the part circled, will upload an image of the blown as soon as my phone is charged!
