LeCroy Waverunner 104 Xi-A

Hello everybody,
I'm new to the forum, and I hope the post is in the right board.
I've got a problem with a LeCroy 104 Xi-A scope that I haven't used in a bit of time. When I power on the unit, the screen lights up but the LeCroy simbol doesn't appear and, in addition to this, the fan of the cooling system doesn't slow down as it used to do and the device remains in this state until I manually plug off the power.
After reading a bunch of posts on this forum I've take apart the scope and changed the 3V cr2032 battery which is on the motherboard, because the problems described seemed to me quite similar to the ones I have, but unfortunately  the problems aren't gone.

a little late - did you fix it?

I had a similar behavior after doing some upgrade on my WS424.
I changed the battery for the bios as well and afterwards it want boot up....

What i did is - during startup  i step into bios and Reload the default bios settings, that solved the problem on my WS424 :-)

As is a Windows based Scope -  it has a BIOS like a regular computer - so the beeps the bios does during start up can lead you towards the issue and give some idea abut the problem.

My 44Xi-A did the exact same thing and it turned out to be a dead stick of RAM on the motherboard. My scope would also sometimes give POST error beeps when starting, but not always.
