Lecroy WS 400 trips GFCI (RCD) when plugged in (not turned on)
« on: January 01, 2022, 03:32:30 am »
When I last put this WS 434 back together, it blew the RCD the moment I plugged in the mains cable.

If I disconnect the power supply from the PFC board it doesn't trip the RCD.

Any ideas what the problem might be.  Low voltage ohms checks show open circuit between live and earth, neutral and earth.

Thanks
David

You need to inspect the primary wiring.  There is obviously a short.
