Missing row on HD44780U LCD screen

I have a 20x04 HD44780U LCD with the I2C backpack. It's missing a row as in the picture. Can anyone advise on troubleshooting this?

Some of them have a zebra strip between the pcb and the lcd glass, sometimes a cleanup can solve the problem, or maybe there is not enough pressure to make a good contact ?

You can use you fingers to pinch the lcd frame and the pcb to see if it goes away ?

An zoomed out photo to see the whole lcd assembly would help
