LG Oven PCB EBR89296001
« on: October 24, 2024, 11:45:50 pm »
I am looking to identify a replacement transistor for LG Oven PCB.  The only markings on the transistor are ALYE2 however this doesn't appear to pull up any replacements when I google search this part number.

The model of board is EBR89296001.  It is the transistor that is driving RLY3 (tip of pink highlighter in pic)

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Thanks for the response, I am not 100% sure...do you think that one would work work in my application?  I am not familiar with how to cross reference these as I don't know the specs for the current transistor.

That transistor is suitable for your application. It switches the relay coil to ground. That would require an NPN transistor, and the coil current would be of the order of tens of milliamps.

Thanks for the help with this one, I swapped out with a new transistor and circuit now works.

Much appreciated!
