Hi all,

My receiver has been working perfectly, I changed most of the capacitors on the power board about 3 months ago and had no issues since.

Most recently working was playing PS4 through it. Had been using a racing wheel plugged into the PS4, sound was working fine throughout and when turning everything off. Next day turn on and no sound from any speaker.

From what I can see all capacitors look fine on the speaker board, as well as everywhere else.

Any suggestions on what could be causing this?

To clarify I’m not being a dum dum, I’ve checked sound settings on receiver and PS4 and now using the test tone function to check speaker output!

Thanks for help in advance!

I presume you have done all the visual/basic multimeter type checks and know how to be safe around mains powered equipment:

- power light comes on
- power being delivered to the main board (check the 2 LHS connectors off the power supply board, looks like there is a pin out to work with top left)

- is the fuse in the low right corner good?

If its getting mains and looks dead, check the small elec caps on the power supply, one of them might well be the bootstrap reserve to start the switcher - you will need to get pin outs for the chips on there and work back from the sample usage schematics on the data sheets to work out how the power supply starts up.  An ESR meter will be your friend here, but make sure all the caps are discharged first..
