Tig 200p AC/DC welder schematics
« on: December 15, 2023, 05:26:37 pm »
Good day
Is there someone that can help me with schematics for my Chinese Tig 200p ac/dc welder.

I have attached photos of my welder.

Thanks

Hello, What seems to be the problem? I don't have the schematics for the unit, but take the cover off I'm sure many people would like see how its put together.

I think you'll find it's one of a number of generic Chinese designs for AC/DC TIG welders,  and the name Trident doesn't mean that much. There are circuit diagrams for such things on the WWW and apart from Google, try https://valvol.xyz/index.php. It's navigable using a web translator but hard work. I've found welder documentation I've been looking for on that site in the past. You may not find documentation that matches the unit you have exactly.

It's been a few years since I've had anything to do with welding machines, but generic Chinese TIG welders were notorious. Great while they last, but very likely to go wrong and when they do, difficult or expensive to fix. I've seen a few tear down videos of them, and no corner was left uncut. There were a few sites selling spare boards.

Even with mainstream welder manufacturers, where technical documentation can be found, they strongly encourage board swaps, rather than component level repair.
