Linn Sizmik 10.45 Sub Amp

I have just lost the amplifier and there is no replacement available from Linn. Has anyone had experience in repairing one?

Is it all covered in glue inside the amp module ?

I haven't looked yet, I just wondered if anyone had any experience before I started opening it up.
I spoke to the Linn reps in the US and they are no longer supported.
According to the the Linn forum the Majik 126 module will work.
If its just cap replacement I'm up for that but if the PCB is blown I am in for some expense.
