Logitech Harmony 900 repair?
« on: May 27, 2019, 09:33:06 am »
Our Logitech Harmony 900 has completely died on us........the battery is perfectly fine and holds charge well.
The screen is completely blank and does not respond to any button inputs.
On opening the unit, I can't see any obvious signs of damage, so am at a loss on how to proceed?  :scared:
Is there any way I can get  a schematic for this?
The main processor is a BGA and I don't have the tools to do anything on it.

TIA.

Got a scope? Is it getting any signals to the lcd screen? IIRC I read somewhere that they're notorious for failing. Someone was making aftermarket replacements for a while.

He fixed 2 Harmony Ones for me many years ago (including one that needed a new LCD display); they are still working great.  Highly recommended (if you want to outsource the fix, that is).
