Looking for a fluke 87 case front

I just picked up a fluke 87V and the previous owner used brake Kleen on it and now most of the painted lettering is gone. The tester it’s self works perfect. I’m just wondering if anyone out there has a parts case front they want to sell?
I did find a new one on eBay but $50 sounds a bit ridiculous to me. Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

A few years ago I got a 28 in worst condition than yours. Called fluke service and the price for a new case was not worth what I paid in the instrument itself.

Keep looking at ebay, probably the auctions.

Since the 87 is pretty much indestructible it is also not a part donor.

I know you want the instrument in mint conditions but, you may laser engrave the case instead of replacing it.

The printing on some Fluke multimeter is very weak. I‘ve cleaned a Fluke 115 at work with water and a melamine sponge and the printing also started to disappear
