Looking for Information on Motorola ZC68115
« on: May 01, 2016, 05:46:16 pm »
Hello folks,

I am repairing an old Schneider Euro PC (http://www.classiccomputer.org/ams/scheuropc.htm). The NiCd backup battery has leaked over the mainboard and everything looked pretty crusty but at least I got it cleaned up a bit  and replaced the missing traces of the board with wires. I also replaced a graphics RAM which was dead. Now I am facing a real problem. The keyboard controller has a problem and does not recognize all keys (without Enter, DOS is not that interesting). The keystrokes show up at the pins of the chip but not all of them are recognized so I think al least one port of the controller is gone. The chip ist marked as Motorola ZC68115P. Does anybody have information about this chip? Could it be a custom mask programmed 6800? Any chance of getting a spare part?

All the best,
Christian
