Looking for NEC PS2561-W opto-isolator equivalent

I need a new NEC PS2561-W opto-isolator, having accidentally broken a lead off one. The W represents the CTR (current transfer ratio) which in this case is 130 - 260%

I can't find any PS2561 anywhere in New Zealand, let alone the W version.

Another problem is this Opto has Vceo of 80v, and the maximum I can find in Farnell or RS is 70v.


Does anyone know of a suitable replacement that isn't made from unobtainium? - or even someone who has some and would be willing to sell me one?

Try the parametric filters on the Digikey web site to narrow down your list.  It should have filters for Vceo and CTR at least.

(Aside from the PS2561 itself and the PS2501)

Unfortunately I don't know if it will be suitable, it has lower diode forward current rating (50mA vs 80mA) also Veco is 6v vs the 2561's Veco of 7v.

Thanks, I did actually see those before, but I am very wary of Chinese sellers. Maybe I will risk it if I can't find anything else.
