Samsung SM-G955U cellphone over voltage repair help

I can find the schematics for the SM-G995F and for the SM-G950F but not for the SM-G955U which has a different board layout around the data and power connector on the main board.  I am trying to repair an over voltage that was sent into the phone through the charging jack by a defective charger (it got around 36V in the USB C port).  I have already replaced the IC labeled U804 in the SM-G995F schematic and now I have some voltages on the main PCB around the power management IC but it will not charge the battery or turn on.  The IC mentioned in the SM-G995F schematic is KTS1678EUQ-TR and the exact part I got from Mouser was this KTS1678BEUQ-TR.  Not sure if this is the correct part or not as I do not have the exact schematic to match my phone.  Is there some things/voltages I can check to see if another part needs replacing?

They're only product briefs, but it would appear that the "B" version may just be a newer part with better specs.

I am just not sure that the part is even correct as the iFixit disassembly(Link: https://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/Samsung+Galaxy+S8++Teardown/87086) indicates that it may be this part: FPF3688UCX which I can not find at any major online parts sources.  Not sure what the differences may be.

They could be compatible parts. Manufacturers often use second sources.
