Looking for TDK-Lambda SWS-600-5 schematic and service manual
« on: November 30, 2019, 05:54:53 pm »
Hi folks,

I'm looking for schematic and service manual for a TDK-Lambda SWS-600-5 AC/DC power supply, or anything of the same series. Any info appreciated. I have the instruction manual, but want to dig a little deeper into the design.

Thanks,
John

Olá, saberia me indicar onde fazer downloads de esquemas eletrônicos ou fóruns que trate a respeito dessas fontes de alta complexidade e alto custo, principalmente TDK lambda ? Estou me especializando nelas aqui no Brasil e a demanda é grande. Obrigado, Abraços

I have one for a Lambda EWS600. However, I had to sign an NDA to get it. So I can't legally share it.

However, you should be able to contact Lambda tech support and get the one you need. They were extremely helpful to me.

This is their email address, though you might have to initiate the request via their website.

haha NDA on that :-DD

ok if you wanna circumvent a NDA, the thing you do is this

get a fine bushy brass brush, get a long ferrule and a thick gauge wire

Insert the wire into one end of the ferrule and a bunch of brass bristles in the other end. Insert the ones you cut off the brush (the cut section) downwards (they are really sharp and you wanna hide them inside of the crimp), crimp it. Solder a banana jack to the other end of the wire. you can also cut a whole bunch of strands of brass wire if you want, this is just easier to use a brush. Its fairly stiff and works much better then trying to use the copper in a wire to make some kinda sweep

Now you have a measuring broom that you can sweep a PCB with. The only other secret is you wanna clean the board really good so it makes fast contacts. This makes pin mapping much easier on repair, something most people need nowadays because the idiots got missile guidance systems and boring industrial back end bull shit confused

so if you don't have schematics for boring industrial BS, its so much more tempting to buy 4x chiense ones and swap em in because you don't wanna deal with calling lambda lol

Yeah, I don't get the point of an NDA on the schematic. It's not like any Tom, Dick, or Harry can't get it from them. So what's the purpose?

Anyway, Lambda makes some very nice kit, and they gave me the schematic for mine right away.

So why buy Chinese trash? I'd rather buy the good stuff that rarely fails anyway.
