Marantz UD7007 universal player - Can't find jumper/solder bridge on new laser

I am replacing the laser pickup on my Marantz UD7007.  On other pickups I replaced, there was a solder bridge to protect the laser that had to be removed. 
On the new pickup and on the bad pickup that came in the Marantz, I can not find any jumper or solder bridge.  Has anyone ever replaced a laser pickup that did not have a jumper or solder bridge?  I have attached two photos of the new laser pickup.  Maybe I am overlooking something.
