Post by: Wallace Gasiewicz on June 01, 2023, 01:53:07 pm
Rebuilding a Lambda LP 522 FM PS and wondered if anyone has any experience buying MC1466 from China?Just wondering if anyone has received good or bad parts.

Yea, I saw that home made ship with SM parts. Looks like a lot of work.

Did A few years ago and they were fine. Both MC1466L an MC1566L through Ebay . New old stock. Can't vouch for any recent vendors now. Couldn't say if they are fake or not. Being really shiny with bright white ink I would be skeptical about the date codes. I would take the gamble just to see if they work. But that's me.
Did purchase the SMD OSHPARK boards fairly cheaply but haven't got around to using them.
