MCM68766 EPROM equivalent for my programmer?

Hello,

I have an MCM68766 8x8 Kib EPROM (https://www.datasheets360.com/pdf/-853472034809684633) that I would like to read with my TL866+. Does anyone have a suggestion for an equivalent that I can select as IC? This is a DIP24 and not a DIP28 like the 2764.

I don't see one in the supported device list.  I think you will have to make a socket adapter and use the 2764 setting.  The easiest way is to use 2 wire wrap sockets.

Check to see if your programmer has a device selection for MCM68366, which is the equivalent mask ROM to the MCM68766. There may be other manufacturer's mask ROMs that have the same pin-out as well.

If you can find an equivalent mask ROM selection you will be able to read the contents of the MCM68766 EPROM but I don't think you will be able to program the MCM68766 on the TL866 as it requires a 25V programming supply.

The TL866 does not support any parts like that.
