Mean Well MDR-100 PWM IC controller
« on: November 07, 2023, 02:25:25 pm »
Hello. Repairing broken MDR-100-24 I found strange PWM IC controllers with a code 6C17703 and another revision with a code 6C19910. Google can't help. What is that?
By pinout it is similar to NCP1200, NCP1239 series used in other their power supplies.
I have several MDR-100 power supplies with a two revisions which look the same. One revision is MDR-100NA-R4 and another revision is MDR-100NA-R6. The only difference I see is different PWM IC controller codes.
Photo taken from MDR-100NA-R4.

Yes, it can be.  :-+
I will look at datasheet now to investigate if it is Fuji FA5640N or not.
Thank you very much!   :-+

Thank you,, @fzabkar, it seems I can find this IC on our local market. I ordered one already for test.

Yes, that was FA5640N.
It had several other small components broken on a secondary side too (mostly semiconductors:  PC123 optocouplers, AP4310A opamp, etc).
