Hi Everyone,
Bit of a shot in the dark, my relatively old BM223 Insulation Resistance and Continuity tester has failed. It works on the 1kV, 500V and 250V IR ranges, but when i do a continuity test, there is no output current, it always reads >99.9 Ohms.
Ive contacted Megger but as its quite an old model now they dont want to know as its obsolete. |O
Is anyone here familiar with this model? any documentation for it?
Ive opened it up and have done a quick visual inspection, i cannot see anything blown etc, but im at a standstill with it.
Any help is greatly appreciated, Thanks in advance,
Taylor

Hi
I don’t know if this will help. Megger had a bad habit of using very thin sections of PCB track as one time fuses, they are very difficult to spot when open/blown.
