As I originally thought, it's a Matsushita (Panasonic).

The good news is that they continued to make them and the cables are available for later models. A bit of work with some tools can probably get a fit, if not I use a 3D printer to make up custom long-lost connectors.

There will be manuals for later models that will be similar enough to enable you to get it to work (maybe/to-a-degree).

Those connectors look like standard stuff. I can buy them locally online for a couple dollars each.
