I have an a problem with this meter it takes around 20 minutes to measure a 1 Meg resistor. The meter does this by first displaying the highest value its capable of reading and counting backwards ( converging to the value of the resistor being measured before counting back to its maximum residence it can measure. Can anyone please explain.

Yes it was the 4mm sockets not allowing the 4mm plugs to fit snuggly. By the way the scope function on this thing is pants!
