Velleman PS603 power supply
« on: August 24, 2023, 10:39:56 am »
Goodafternoon..

Still have a old Velleman PS 603 working powersupply.. but now the amp meter is broken..coil somewhere open / no conduct.

Maybe someone here has an idea / diagram of which type amp meter is inside.. it is one without a shunt, so it could be somewhere in the micro or milliamps range.

If one of the forum members knows, let me know..

Thanks in advance.

Use a multimeter to measure it and find out.
When it fits stop using the hammer

Thats a good one.. for example 1 at the output with a load, and on the print where the meter is fixed / soldered on the board a second analog one to found out which is the most usefull one..

Try tommorow, tnx

Same schematic PS603 (analog meters) or PS613 (digital panel meters).
They are not very strong or well made and need a lot of repairs.
