Hello eevbloggers.
I recently bought this isolation tester as ex-army surplus. It's quite an old unit, probably made in the 1970ies but it is complete and looks like new.
The HV part works fine and it also measures AC voltage, but it should be possible to use it as high current resistance tester, too. There is a switch position labeled "D", which I assume to mean "Durchgang" - german for "Continuity". However the instrument does nothing in this position.
I haven't got either user manual or service manuals. So it could easily be a case of PEBKAC as well
.
Maybe somebody here has used one of these before or maybe somebody has a scan of a manual for it.
I'll upload a picture of the unit later.
Thank you!
David
edit: spelling
