I got one of these rework stations. They were working great until the heating element died. I was included a spare with my packaging but it didn't come with the "mica" paper. The mica paper seperates the heating element from the wand from shorting out.

I tried wax paper, and paracement paper but it just burns through it.

Just wondering what everybody else uses.

Is anything preventing you from re-using the original mica sheets?  You can always buy new ones but it's hard to see why that'd be necessary.
