Microwave oven - What kind of DC/DC Converter am I looking at?
« on: December 16, 2024, 01:13:12 pm »
Dear community,

roughly one year ago I tore down an old microwave oven.
Sadly I did not make any pictures of the whole oven (e. g. the type plate).

The part of interest is a DC/DC converter populated on one of the PCBs I salvaged for later use.
The information I have are the following:

Typ / Art.-Nr.: ETXMJ197X1BG
Input: ~ 325 Vdc
Output: DC 12 V and DC 30 V

What I want to know
#1: Manufacturer
#2: Dataseheet (Rated power, line regulation, load regulation, etc.)
#3: Price / Value

I attached serveral pictures as well as the service manual for a similar microwave oven.
The part of interest is referred with IC10.
Unfortunatele the schematics are not searchable so you have to manually scroll to page 28 / chapter 19 to find the converter at the top middle.

I tried to find this part at serveral venders without success.
On mouser.com I get mostly open frame ones like:
RECOM Power
RACM30-12DK/277/OF

I can at least help with the Manufacturer Logo:
https://logowik.com/matsushita-logo-vector-36730.html

That distinct M stand for Matsushita.

Googling Matsushita ETXMJ197X1BG returns a couple of service manuals like this one, listing the component:
https://www.manualslib.com/manual/2800853/Matsushita-Electric-Nn-V688w.html#manual

So it's a custom part made internally, there will very likely be no public specs available.
