Title: MiniPro TL866 Firmware Upgraded and broken Fake device

Got a Mini Pro today. Installed software and software told me to upgrade firmware.

After upgrading got error and then application gave me this message (see pic below)

This sucks.. Been waiting for this thing for 2 weeks and breaks in 5 mins.

I thought it was a real one...   Box and description said it was.. Heck even looks the same on the inside as the one Dave tore down.

The application erased the firmware on the device so I am going to try to reprogram the PIC on the board.

I've programmed mine with a PicKit3. The PCB has holes for the standard ICSP header inside. I didn't even solder a proper header, I just press-fitted male header pins into the PCB holes while programming. Good luck.

Reprogrammed it using a parallel port,  :-/O  some resistors and the attached pdf and software.

I attached the PDF files and the application below for reference.
