Hi!

I bought a replacement Moto G 1st Gen LTE (XT1039) to replace my previous one which I dropped once too often resulting in nothing but a trelliswork of lines on the screen, but this replacement phone has it's own annoying display fault – when I try to read pdfs with any bold text or blocks of blue colour, I get smeary blue bars that run across or down the screen whose width is that of the bold colour or lettering – the fault looks just like you used to get on old CRT based colour TVs with "colour–difference drive" when the grid clamping on the blue gun went faulty!

Has any other Member seen this fault on this series of Moto phones, and is there a quick resolution, or am I looking at a physical LCD or motherboard fault?

It's an enigma that's what it is!! This thing's not fixed because it doesn't want to be fixed!!
