Moto G4 plus charge port continuity??

I'm attempting to replace the charge port on a Moto G4 Plus and I think I have continuity issues.  The charge port has 5 pins that connect to 5 solder pads on the board.   Should any of the 5 pads on the board have continuity to ground?  Right now only one pad doesn't show continuity to ground.  This doesn't sound normal, right?
