Motorola Moto G6 - Water Damage, part blown away
« on: October 31, 2018, 10:11:50 am »
Hi, after water damage and cleaning there’s a missing part on the motherboard of my Moto G6. Interestingly enough the phone works (Screen, Wireless, etc.) except GSM/LTE network access. Therfore I do have hope that it can be repaired.

I’d need a schematic trying to fix it.  If you look at the picture there’s abviously one part blown away (lower right) and in the upper left section there’s also some corrosion. I cleaned it up and it looks much better now, but the part in the lower right section is just gone…

Hi All,

another try: as I can't find a schematic: Does anybody have a high resolution picture of the area in question?

Thank you

Marco

Are any of the components around the blown up part identifiable (that chip in top left for example)? You could try figuring at least the type of the component missing that way.
