I've been starting my old Tek scope repairs by doing a very thorough cleaning of all the switch contacts and dripping some deoxit down the pot shafts and working them around, and also re-seating all of the socketed components. If it hasn't been used/running properly fairly recently, then this would be a great place to start. Then you can get a good idea of what is really wrong without having to worry about bad contacts.
On both my 465 and 468, doing this solved a number of issues that the scopes had. Hope this helps!
