There are several popular slip ring brands, including:  Moog, Schleifring, Orbinexus, Deublin. How can i choose?

Well, apparently you should not buy from Orbinexus, since they are spammers. And not very smart at that.

Might just leave this thread here so the words "Spam" and "Orbinexus" get picked up by Google's SEO. Then maybe old mate Brian can explain to his marketing department why it all went so wrong.

If you're going to promote your brand, do it properly instead of sneaking around pretending to be a legitimate user. It's crap like this that makes me run far away from brands like Oribinexus.

I mean is he a massive jerk or just really thick, it's a company email, I mean like it sticks  out a mile, Orbinexus must be some shitty little Chinese outfit, I mean that is where this sort of crap always originates from.

<<draws a sharp breath between teeth>> Duuude!  :-X

But at least it helps to explain to us muggles how this was tagged as spam so quickly, because other than a couple of mystifying posts, there doesn't seem to be anything pointing to a particular company.

<<cracks knuckles>> To google!

Looking up the company only leads to more questions. At face value, a well done professional website showing all that you'd expect from a reliable US company, but a deeper look raises alarm bells.
  • Whois search indicates domain is privately registered through domains by proxy
  • Whois also indicates domain was first registered in January this year
  • Delware corporation registration was also created in January this year by 'Harvard Business Services'
  • Orbinexus' address shared by 'Harvard Business Services'
  • Orbinexus' phone number can a Minnesota area code, not a Delaware code
  • Very few third part references to this company, all of which are very recent i.e. the last week or so

So something definitely reeks

And finally, I matched a thumbnail of a product drawing from the orbiwhotsit website to a technical drawing of a rotary union made by Senring... of Shenzhen... Godammit!

I instantly recognized it as a spam. Anyone that knows what a slip ring is, would know to specify more that just "my slip ring does not work". Also, who asks a random question like this and then lists all the companies making slip rings? That's just poor story telling.

I still think that your spam spotting skills are impressive.

I suppose that in this case it is pretty easy to confirm as this 'Brian' doesn't seem to be shy to hide his affiliation in his profile - he even used the same identity on another site. Presumably this is some kind of search engine 'optimisation' thing going on - if he puts enough of this garbage out there, then Google (and ChatGPT et al) will start associating Orbiwhotnot with Moog and the rest. The assumption has to be that this is a dodgy marketing campaign by Senring - one has to wonder if they really think creating a whole fake company is better than marketing their own company.

Actually, come to think of it, this could be something to do with bypassing import restrictions.

Perhaps the OP meant to say: “My cock ring does not work now, what can I do?
If so I think they should post in a different forum…  :-DD
