Google search for "P140NF55" finds a few datasheets.
Any correct substitution should match most parameters.
VDS, A, RDSON, being the most important. Gate characteristics are also important when placing in a existing application to match the designers calculations.

Hi,

It's better to replace with the same type, why do you want an equivalent ?
The Save Operation Area of the IRF1405 is smaller, could be a problem.

Thank you for replying. I can't buy the original part in my country and that is the only problem (I could order it, but the shipping is 20-30 days and I can't wait that long).

Actually it has noticeably bigger safe operation area than STP140NF55. IRF1405 also have a 2x max drain current and lower RDS(on). Gate capacitance few % bigger. It will work, but it is not a good idea to use it if there are any STP140NF55 in parallel. And better to get STP140NF55 anyway as it is cheaper.
